Hello! I’m Rachael Melissa Nathanielsz, a 28-year-old TEFL-certified teacher from the Philippines. I graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas. I love traveling, writing, photography, learning languages, and teaching, among others. I’m an adventurous soul with an undying desire for learning. I want to keep exploring, learning, and risking. Why? Life is just too short to say no to the beautiful (and sometimes, scary) things. I’m a firm believer in love, in adventure, in life. I always push myself to never settle for mediocrity and give an outstanding performance every time. I’m an open-minded and integrity-driven individual always looking forward to learning a new culture and gaining a professional development experience. I have more than a year of experience teaching English online and some volunteer in-person teaching experience in Poland and in the Philippines. Teaching English online to kids from different countries in Europe and Asia has pushed me to perform beyond what I thought I could. Not only have I forged great relationships with my students, but I have also developed my skills as a teacher. I love kids! I love being around kids! Why? Because you get to be just as curious as them; you get to play with them; you get to learn from them. In my classes, I make sure that learning English is not only interesting but also fun and exciting.
