Hello and good day. My name is Dave Salanguit, but you can call me Dave. I also use “Dave Custard” as my teacher name. I am already 43 years old and was born in Manila but now residing in Cebu. I graduated and studied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Computer Management. I am also an athlete, playing soccer from elementary until college. I love to talk to children, love being around them. I have a huge patience and understanding when it comes to teaching. I am also involved in conducting Summer Sunday Schools in church. I have completed my TESOL and TEYL Certificates. And it is my second year as an ESL Teacher. One of my strategies in teaching is, you should be able to know the capabilities of the student first, knowing if he or she is a beginner or an advanced learner. I specialize in Word Knowlede and Spelling. I am pretty confident on how to explain a specific word, and of course with the help of google search. And also I am good at Grammar, about Subject-Verb Agreement, Singular and Plural Form of Nouns, Phrases and Sentences Composition. I also have the General American Accent or the Neutral Accent, it will be easy for the students to follow what I am saying. I can also offer Free Talk classes and IELTS Practices to advanced learners. I can easily break the barrier between me and my students, especially if they are new in my class or very shy and very hesitant to talk.
