Hi! I’m Marianne. Nice to meet you! I have been teaching ESL to juniors and seniors since 2018 and IELTS for a couple of months. When I teach I’m usually quite patient and try to make it fun and engaging. Like playing games or debates. I believe my pronunciation and accent is my strong suit since I get complimented with that a lot. But what I think my asset would be is comprehension. Reading has been a hobby ever since I learned to read and the reason I think that is my asset is because people usually come to me to try and understand a specific phrase. Which kinda boosted my ego a bit. I went to University of the Visayas for 4 years with a degree in Elementary Education and majored in Special Education. I graduated April 2018 and went to work a few months after. I took my licensure exam September 2019 and I passed had a Ceremony just before lockdown started. My batch was lucky enough for that. In short, I like to get my students engaged and show their interests and hobbies. Hope to see you!
