Hello there! How are you? My name is Alwyn Jade Tampus, a licensed teacher from the Philippines. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for more than five years. I have taught English to kids, teenagers, university students, professionals and seniors of different English levels. I also help students pass English exams such as TOIEC and IELTS. I teach English grammar, pronunciation and conversational English. As a teacher, I believe every student is unique, so I make sure my teaching style suits my student’s learning style. I also worked as a pre-school teacher for one year in an international school in Cebu and was later promoted as the Assistant Administrator. I have taught English to different nationalities such as Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Russians, French and Colombians. I enjoy reading books, the last book I have read is the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I am not really an athletic person but I do play badminton and bowling sometimes. I played basketball in college and did not like it because it’s exhausting for me. I am into movies. Recently, I just completed watching all movies in Marvel Cinematic Universe (Avengers), all 23 of them. I look forward to watching the next one which is Black Widow to be released later this year. I also watched X-Men movies and movies produced by DC such as Superman and Shazam. The latest movie I have watched is Enola Holmes. It’s quite an interesting movie, I recommend that you watch it. When I as a kid I dreamt of becoming a radio jockey, I love listening to radio jockeys speaking English in their well-modulated voice. I guess, that helped me learn English as a kid. Now, most people say I have a voice like of a radio jock. That makes me feel good. By the way, I look forward to having you in my class. See you!
