Children’s Day - Toy Sharing Day Event

Good day 25Hoon Teachers!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Children’s Day Toy Sharing Day event which will run for the entire month of April.

This event will be part of their classes and should be done in the first 5 minutes of class; like a short speech about their chosen toy.

When you see a banner uploaded in the classroom, it means that the students are participating in the activity that day.

NOTE: We have attached the sample banner to this message.

Here is a sample student speech:

Hello, everybody! I’m Wally.
Let me introduce my favorite toy and it’s called Benny.
It’s a rabbit which has long ears, big blue eyes and is covered with bright pink.
Benny has a superpower, he can jump very high!
Jump over buildings and trees.
My mom gave it to me when I was 3 years old at my birthday party.
And now it sleeps with me every night. I can’t be without it while I’m sleeping.
What do you think of my toy?
I hope you like it!
Thank you for listening.

As a teacher, here’s what you need to do:

1. Guide students to start their speech.
2. Do not interrupt them while giving their speech.
3. Listen carefully and attentively.
4. Give encouragement when they end their speech.

NOTE: The activity should last around 5 minutes. After the activity, you may proceed with your usual lesson. 🙂

We eagerly anticipate your active involvement and guidance in this event, as your support will be instrumental in making this event a success for the students.

Also, you are not required to help your students make their speeches but if they ask for your help, then, you may assist them. 🙂

Should you have any questions, feel free to ask us via Skype.

Thank you very much,
