1. Ferris wheel /ˈfer.ɪs ˌwiːl/

a small electric car is driven for entertainment in a special closed space at a fair, etc., where the aim is to try to hit other cars

an amusement ride characterized by cup-shaped spinning vehicles atop a turntable-like floor.

a form of live entertainment that simulates the experience of visiting haunted locations or storylines typical of horror fiction.
