Dialogue 1

Read the dialogue aloud with your teacher.

I’m so glad we got here early. This is the hottest brunch spot in town. Did you see the line-up?

Well I guess we’re all a little older now. We can’t sleep in like we used to!

Anyways, it’s really great to see you. What would you like to have? I’m going to have the eggs benedict with smoked salmon.

I still haven’t made up my mind, Just give me a sec. What are you drinking?

Coffee. I think it’s perfect for a 3-hour brunch.

Alright. I’m gonna have a blueberry smoothie. But I can’t decide whether I should have the waffles or pancakes? They both look yum.

Why don’t you go with the pancakes? They sound perfect to go with the smoothies.

Yeah! Sounds great! Let’s order!
