Hi, may I ask you if there are any good restaurants near here?

Good day! I would be happy to answer any questions you might have concerning restaurants and diners. Can you tell me if you have a specific restaurant, or type of menu in mind?
Well I am curious to know what area in the city is best known for a wide selection of restaurants? We want to try the street foods, and also taste the local cuisine, but I have not the slightest clue where to begin. Could you please help me?

First, I would suggest trying the food carts and eating places found in and around central downtown. It’s only a few blocks away from here.

The central town includes the famous Sunset strip area that is well known for its late night food, as it is the biggest nightlife district.

Okay, we will go to the Sunset strip after this. Can you please recommend to us some restaurants that aren’t too crowded and have a romantic ambiance?

We’re looking for a cozy restaurant indoors, that serves fresh seafood, or authentic mediteranean food?

Yes, If you’re looking for a more discrete place, instead of the main strip, i’d suggest going to the boardwalk.

The Fisherman’s Wharf serves fresh seafood. It’s located near the end of the boardwalk across Vermont Park.

The boardwalk sounds great! I just have one last question. My wife and I are planning to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

Would you kindly suggest a restaurant with an outdoor patio and a view of the city skyline?

If you’re looking for a spectacular view of the city, you could make a reservation at the revolving restaurant located at the top most floor of A&M Building in Central town.

And another place of interest is at Pleasant Hills. High up on the mountain side, you’ll have the best view of the city skyline.

The area is a two-block section that is also a well known food zone, with dimly lit restaurants, and live music.

Wow! Thank you, those are really good suggestions. We greatly appreciate all of your help!

You’re welcome! If you have any more inquiries, please take with you this city guide, with a map of all the areas and food zones.

All right! Thank you again!

Devi

Devi, have you thought about where you would like to go to dinner on Friday for your birthday?

I am not sure. I don’t know that many restaurants around here.

You know, we could look online at the local Internet sites.

Good. Let’s take a look!

What kind of food would you like for your birthday?

I enjoy Thai or Japanese the best.

This one, Shogun, looks good.

Oh yes, I’ve heard of that one. Everyone I’ve spoken with says that it is great!

Would you like to go there then?

I think that that would be a really good choice! Let’s call and make a reservation.
