Level Test Evaluation Report

Level Test Grading Standard

To give the grading of the student, get the average score from all the subjects. Add all the scores and divide it by 6. The score will be the grading. Please do not take decimals into account.

Example 1 :

Student Lily is current in high school. She studied abroad for 2 years when she was young, so she is good in using English in daily life. During level test, she may receive these grades:

Reading – Level 5
Listening – Level 6
Speaking – Level 6
Vocabulary – Level 4
Grammar – Level 4
Pronunciation – Level 7

To get her average, add 5 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 4 + 7 = 32. Then, divide by 6, which is 5.3. Without considering the decimals, Student Lily’s overall grade is Level 5.

Example 2 :

Student Johnny has never lived anywhere else for 27 years of his life. He only learned English in public school but he never really used it. Now, he wants to start studying it as a hobby. He has one American friend he can practice with sometimes. During the level test, he may receive scores like this:

Reading – Level 3
Listening – Level 2
Speaking – Level 2
Vocabulary – Level 2
Grammar – Level 1
Pronunciation – Level 2

To get his average, add 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 12. Then, divide by 6, which is 2. Student Johnny’s overall grade is Level 2.
