(Narrator):

Hello, this is Lauren, the manager of the purchasing department. First of all, I’m happy, to say that our sales are increasing significantly thanks to all the employees’ hard work. But this morning, I receive a phone call from Camelot Foods, Inc. They said they want to raise the price of their food supplies. They currently serve fresh ingredients to our restaurant at a reasonable price, but due to the extended economic recession, there’s no choice except to raise the price. They mentioned that especially the price of seafood might shoot up by almost 30%. If it is true, it will raise our costs as well. Then we should be concerned about a significant decrease in sales.  Please tell me how can I respond to them and handle this problem.  I would welcome any suggestions from any of our employees.  Thank you.
